Wednesday, June 4th:

  • Basic Introduction to Arduino's prototyping platform
  • Examples in I/O, programming as talking technique, variable definitions, etc
  • Basic noise making

Thursday, June 5th:

  • Cheap and simple communication tricks: cables, triggers by latch or front
  • Infrarred (for this, if you have a universal remote control, we will be doing pretty funny stuff)
  • Basic 1-bit sound production
  • Planning of first intervention: remote controlled sound parasites

Friday, June 5th:

  • Intervene! We will go out, make some noise, generate some confusion, and document it
  • Analyze results
  • Drums out of electromagnets: hitting on things
  • Programming: sequences, how to store different sequences
  • Planning second/final intervention

Saturday, June 7th:

  • Make it inexpensive, make many of them: I2C controlled (up to 127!!) simple toys
  • Low level timing for serious sound production: hardcore intro and revision of existing projects by people

Sunday, June 8yh:

  • work work work, we have a show that night
