FAQ
What language will the workshops and talk be in?
English will be the primary language, but as this is in Spain, there will be much Spanish spoken, and perhaps other languages.
Will there be any computers available for use?
We have 4 Ubuntu machines with enough memory to run any of the three environments we mention. We tried to use them with other tools like thedora, but there was not enough RAM to execute the software.
The Centro de Historia counts with several Mac machines ready to edit video.
Zaragozawireless hacklab has a whole bunch of linux boxes we could for sure borrow if needed.
I have my laptop, is there a network connection?
Your laptops are of course welcome! The center counts with a fairly good open wireless network. If your box is too old and you don't have WiFi card, don't worry, there are also good old school cables in the workshop's space.
What about the OS?
One of the main features of the tools presented in this workshop is that they run in any of the existing Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, or Mac.
